How is Financial Writers Australia different to PR Firms?
“Who writes the content of the newsletters?”
Our writers do, with direction from you. Every newsletter is written by a writer who is a qualified financial planner, paraplanner or who has held a responsible position within the financial services industry. You discuss your needs with your writer for each issue but you will have the final say as to what is written for each edition.
“Do we have a say on what our newsletter looks like?”
This is your newsletter and it should correspond with your corporate identity and branding. The design of the newsletter will be uniquely yours, with your logo and contact details displayed clearly.
"What does your service cost?"
That's a hard question to answer because we don't rubber stamp our clients' newsletters. Every single one is different because every single client has different needs. Tell us what you want by sending us details here and we'll provide a quote to meet your needs.
“Do we have to use the whole service?”
No, we can tailor our service to meet your specific needs. For example, we can just do the writing and send it back to you for designing and printing. Or we can write, design and print the newsletter and send all copies to your office for you to distribute. However, we’d like the opportunity to compare what you are paying for these services as we may be able to save you money based on our “buying power” and relationships.
“Are we able to contribute articles?”
By all means! However, it might be more efficient to brief us on what you would like to write and we can draft the article for you. But if you have some available time and can meet your deadlines, we’d love to have your contributions.
“But what about our in-house marketing people?”
Researching and writing articles for newsletters is a time-consuming exercise and your marketing professionals’ time could be better directed to more proactive tasks and strategic planning.
The time spent working with us would be miniscule compared to them taking days searching for material and writing the articles, then dealing with designers and printers and mailing houses. Financial Writers Australia does all of this for you.
“How is Financial Writers Australia different to PR Firms?”
Financial Writers Australis is not a PR firm. We specialise in writing newsletters and articles directed specifically at financial planning… and we stick to our knitting! Our key difference is that we understand your business from both a practical and technical perspective and can therefore write articles that are relevant in a simple-to-understand language, which is what your readers need.
